Rafa Nadal: The king of clay
Rafa Nadal was interested in sport from an early age, playing both football and tennis, but he soon concentrated on the latter and debuted as a professional at the age of 15. By the age of 19 he was already ranked second in the world by the Association of Professional Tennis (ATP) and he attained the number one spot when he was 22. He has won a total of 20 Grand Slam tournaments, 2 Olympic gold medals and 5 Davis Cups with the Spanish team.
